Rent a private room or loft in the Detroit Zen Center residence for a personal retreat,
or to just relax from the daily hustle.

Zenstay

Zenstay is hosted by resident Zen students.

Available are a private ensuite bedroom, or a 3rd floor studio apartment inside the historic Zen Center residency.  Both overlook the Green Roof.  We offer organic, plant based breakfast & optional lunch.  Zenstay guests have access, but no obligation to the morning/evening meditation or services, and can choose to spend their days freely, or opt into projects happening around the Center.  The Detroit Zen Center is in the center of Detroit, in a small city district called Hamtramck, the most walkable, eclectic neighborhood in Detroit, home to 32 languages, with many restaurants, cafes & galleries nearby.  Downtown Detroit is 10 minutes by car.
