SCHEDULE & MORE INFO
The workshop will be guided by Myungju, a Zen Monk and assisted by zen students. We will start with a Friday night meeting & introduction, followed by meditation with a short Dharma Talk. Folks can opt to stay at the Center overnight, or go home & return Saturday morning. The Saturday schedule will include formal zen meditation in the meditation hall, instruction in walking meditation, Taoist Yoga (Sundo) that emphasizes postures with specific breath technique. Also, we will prepare and take organic, plant-based breakfast & lunch together, with time to discuss the elements of plant-based eating for healing & wellness.
In the afternoon we will work together on a community project, depending on the weather it may be gardening, or caretaking of the Center in other ways. We will end with closing tea & discussion. All are welcome.
